Job Description
High Reach Company, the best privately owned aerial equipment rental company in Florida, is looking to hire a Shop Mechanic. We are looking for a qualified and ambitious individual to join our fast paced growing company.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner and in accordance with company policy, OSHA and DOT
- Shop Mechanic must be able to communicate with Service Manager on problems that could result in work delay
- Knowledge of Aerial Equipment
- Preferably JLG and Genie Certified
- Service and maintain a fleet of Boom, Scissor and Fork Lifts
- Shop Mechanic should have experience in electronics and hydraulics
- Diesel and gas engine experience
- Shop Mechanic should be able to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude
- Must be dependable and report to work on time
- Shop Mechanic must provide own tools
- Must not have a fear of heights
- Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 75 pounds
